- Before, During, and After Air Reserve Training -

2014-2015

Last year (2014) Brittany made the decision to join the Air Reserve

Her first step was leaving to Basic Training before being sent off to Tech school to be trained on what she will be doing while she is in the Reserves. Time seemed to be running short for us to hangout before she left at the end of August. She wasn't allowed to have any phone calls during Basic Training, so we wrote letters to one another.

Our letters were scarce since she was so busy with training, but any word was worth it!

I was extremely proud of Brittany when she graduated Basic Training in October. I wish I could have gone to her graduation, but with school it wasn't possible :(

Christmas Break 2014

[Above Photo] Brittany came home for a short break! I was so happy to have my best friend home during my break which gave us some more time to spend together. When Britt went into Tech School we were able to talk on the phone and text each other which was closer to the norm for us.

 

[Above Photo] Wine night! Brittany and I having the wine that I bought for us. She drank her red wine I got her for Christmas, and I opened my white wine (which wasn't very good - but that's okay!)

I enjoyed our catch up time - Whenever we hangout, it doesn't feel like we haven't seen each other for months. The time you spend apart doesn't really matter, especially when you have a good friendship.

Times may have been stressful but she stayed strong and got through it! Snapchat was pretty awesome to have while going to school for the both of us and very entertaining :)

[Above Photo] Time for her to finally come home! First flight was into Seattle and the last was into Portland. Big accomplishments have been made in the last 8 months.

[Above Photo] Finally home at last!!! I was so happy to be able to give her the biggest hug and welcome her home! It was nice being able to wait at the Terminal upon her arrival :)

Now onto bigger and better things in the near future & many more experiences!!
